Client Testimonials

Buyer (2014), Seller (2018) 1808 Maddux Dr, Redwood City, CA &

Buyer (2018) 612 Highview Court, San Mateo, CA:

My wife and I worked with Samie a few years back (2014) when we purchased our first home in Redwood City. It wasn’t our first home purchase, but it was our first in the bay area. Samie prepared us for the wild real estate market here, got us familiar with the neighborhoods, patiently visited lots of homes with us, and worked us through the process for an off-market purchase

Fast forward 4 years later and we decided it was time for an upgrade. We were considering a tear-down/rebuild or just moving. We were also considering renting our existing home. Samie worked through the options with us, and ultimately we settled on selling our existing home and purchasing a new one.

We immediately started looking for a new home that was a bit larger, and we really wanted a bay view. We preferred to walk through the homes on our own when they had open houses. We kept notes that we shared with her, and she used this knowledge to visit houses during the week before they had an open house weekend, and let us know those that she thought we would like. We offered on one house, which we didn’t get because we offered less than Samie recommended (her recommended offer price ended up being almost exactly what the home went for). We then found three houses that we were pondering an offer on, but they all had offers due at the same time! Samie helped us narrow down our favorite, recommended a price, and we got it! There were multiple offers, as usual, and our price was just enough to win out, so I feel like Samie’s insight was perfect, and we didn’t overpay.

For the sale of our existing home in Redwood City, it needed quite a bit of TLC before it would be ready for market. We rehabbed a bathroom, performed some minor repairs to stucco and drywall cracks, repainted inside and out, removed a pool, and landscaped. Samie called upon her interior design skills and advised us on material and color selections throughout the process that would look great and be cost effective. It was a ton of work, some of which we did ourselves and some of which we had contractors help out. Samie checked in with the contractors daily, helped water plants after we’d moved out, and generally worked her tail off helping out with the sale. We ultimately accepted an offer that we were very pleased with.

We couldn’t be more pleased with the end results.  We love our new home and the lovely view. We really appreciated all of Samie’s hard work and help in making the it all a smooth process. We’d use Samie again in a heartbeat – but I don’t think we’ll be moving again anytime soon… 🙂

Buyer, 3358 Brittan Ave, #11, San Carlos, CA:

“Samie represented us in buying our home in San Carlos. We really appreciated the way Samie put our minds at ease in a very competitive market. She truly had our best interests in mind and didn’t want us making rash decisions. Her guidance helped us take our time and find a home that we’re happy with. We were continually impressed with her local knowledge of the San Carlos/RWC/Belmont market and her stellar reputation among her peers. Samie has a tremendous understanding of all aspects of the real estate transaction, so we always felt like we were getting the best information from someone we trusted. We highly recommend Samie as a Realtor.”

Buyer, 19 Williams Lane, Foster City, CA:

“Samie – it’s still settling in! Thank you for all your help in this process. You were conservative when the occasion called for it and very aggressive when the time was right. Thank you for your counsel. Third times the charm all thanks to you. ”

Seller (2015), 1131 Menlo Oaks Drive, Menlo Park, CA:

“Samie Goodman — what can I possibly say, except that she is simply wonderful! She is not only a clear communicator, friendly and warm, but I always felt that she was available and ready to answer any question or address any concerns I had. She listened to me, and went above and beyond to help us sell our home quickly during our divorce process. We had quite a bit of tidying/packing/organizational work to do, which was not easy given the divorce situation, but Samie handled even all the awkward situations with an impressive, professional grace and ease. I appreciated Samie’s fine eye to detail, her ability to clearly plan and execute (and adjust if the powers that be got in the way), and her flawless taste. She picked out beautiful flowers and planted them herself to help our curb appeal, and would even come to water them herself! Everything from the coordination of contractors, gardeners, cleaners, stagers, inspectors, open houses, to the final sale with the buyers — could not have been smoother. Our house sold so quickly, and for so much beyond what any of us had expected, that it was unreal. This woman truly rocks, and if you choose Samie Goodman as your realtor, consider yourself lucky. Actually, after selling our home, when it became time to purchase my next home, I went straight back to Samie — she is truly that good. I trust her completely. You’ll be in great hands. ”

You went above and beyond the normal expectations of a Realtor with all the personal touches and upgrades that you did to the house, which ultimately helped to sell our home for the highest price possible. We can’t thank you enough. During the entire process, you kept us fully informed each step of the way. Our experience with you was pleasant and things just moved along hassle-free. We will definitely refer you to everyone we know!”

Restoration Hardware, Real Hero Award, SFDC Showroom, San Francisco, CA:

“In the short time Samie has joined our team, she has filled a niche that our team had been missing. She is patient, understanding and contemplative when it comes to servicing our clients and their needs. She is not afraid to ask questions, provide solutions or remove obstacles when it comes to the clients’ needs. For instance, this week alone, she had a delivery for a client that was to involve more than our HDL team to make it happen. Furniture had to hoisted up four stories and delivered through a living room window. This was no small feat. But Samie got it done and the clients were thrilled.

She is innovative and her forward thinking has expanded Samie clientele base and has built rapport and relationships with her clients. She removes obstacles. When an item does not fit into the floor plan, budget, or delivery window, she offers other items or creates an entirely different floor plan for the client all together. Her follow-up skills are integral to her ever increasing business. It is not unlikely that one often sees her clients hugging her after a transaction. Samie knows what it takes to build relationships.

Her service skills, humility, and thoughtfulness combine to make her a unique individual that the RH Team respects and embraces. Nothing asked of her is too big or too small. She never loses sight of our vision. Congratulations to Samie for embracing the vision, providing excellent service, maintaining and exuding quality, and for being innovative in your processes. Our people are our greatest asset, of which you are an exemplary example of.
